Daily Health Routine: Dinacharya

In order to maintain good health and balance your mind-body type, one should implement a daily routine, also known as Dinacharya:

  1. Wake up at/around sunrise (sattvic or “pure” time of the day)

  2. Eliminate your bowels 

  3.  Tongue Scraping 

  4.  Brush teeth and throat gargle 

  5. Drink a warm glass of water

  6. Oil massage or “self abhyanga”

  7. Practice 20-30  minutes of yoga (seek guidance from a doctor first before starting)

  8. Shower

  9.  Eat a nutritious meals throughout the day as per your mind-body type 

  10. Do not overexert yourself 

  11. Practice some form of mindfulness/meditation/or breathing session in the evening

  12. Go to bed early
