Cooling Cilantro Chutney

Create a cooling and tasty cilantro chutney to enjoy this spring season. Cilantro is a good source of dietary fiber, vitamins A, C, E, K, calcium, iron, potassium, and magnesium. 


1 cup of freshly grated or frozen coconut
1 bunch of cilantro
2-3 green chilies
¼ tsp of tamarind paste/ 1 tsp of lemon juice
Salt for taste
½ cup of warm water


  1. Add ingredients to blender

  2. Blend finely

Use this chutney as a healthy spread on whole-wheat toast and make a breakfast side dish. Looking for an afternoon snack: dip rice crackers in this chutney and enjoy.
