Beat the Heat with this Refreshing Homemade Lemonade

As the weather is warming up, stay cool by treating yourself to a mid-afternoon lemonade beverage.

Ingredients:

-1 Cup Water
-1-2 Mint leaves (crushed)
-2 TBS of Lemon Juice (Fresh lemons are preferred)
-1 Cardamom pod (powdered)
-1 tsp of brown sugar
-Pinch of salt
-Few fibers of saffron (optional)

Procedure:

1) Add crushed mint leaves to 1 cup of water, wait for 3-4 minutes
2) After, add lemon juice, powdered cardamom, brown sugar, salt and saffron and mix gently
3) Enjoy!

Mint leaves and cardamom are cooling herbs and are best used during the warm spring and summer days.
